New Education Website Launch

As the Gallipoli Centenary begins, we are delighted to announce the launch of the new website for the Gallipoli Centenary Education Project: www.gallipoli100education.org.uk. We have been trialling a draft version of the site for a few weeks and are now ready to ‘open for business’ with the new version.

The purpose of the site is to help teachers with their Gallipoli projects, so this is not so much an historical site as an educational one, so the information is intended to raise questions rather than supply answers. We are using video, images and audio where possible to make access easy for pupils of different ages, abilities and nationalities. We are also offering schools all over the world the opportunity to present their work to an international audience on our ‘School Projects’ pages. The site will grow during the year as more schools start their projects.

If any members are interested in contributing, perhaps by submitting a personal view of the campaign or putting us in touch with a school, please get in touch with Robin Clutterbuck, National Coordinator ([email protected])
