Royal Naval Division memorial rededication
The national memorial to the Royal Naval Division (RND) will be rededicated at Horse Guards Parade in London on Thursday, 13 November 2025. The noon ceremony marks the memorial’s centenary and honours the sailors who served as infantry in the First World War. The RND fought with distinction in the harsh conditions of the Gallipoli peninsula before serving on the Western Front.
Descendants of those who served in the Royal Naval Division, particularly those with family connections to the Gallipoli campaign, are invited to attend the ceremony, alongside members of the public with an interest in the division’s history. Those wishing to attend should contact [email protected]. The dress code is smart attire for civilians and 1B for serving military personnel.
The centenary rededication takes place at noon (muster at 11.40am) on November 13.
