at Brecon Cathedral, Cathedral Close, Brecon, LD3 9DP

The 29th Division was a regular army division, which served with distinction in the First World War. The 2nd South Wales Borderers was part of this division. The 29th fought in the ill fated Gallipoli campaign where it suffered casualties 34,000 casualties. Soldiers of the division were awarded 12 V.C.’s. The Gallipoli Association is committed to keeping the memory of the campaign and commemorates the part played by this division each year.

The commemoration is part of a normal Eucharist Service, including communion.
