Back To Our Past - Dublin 2011
Gallipoli Association - Dublin, 21, 22 & 23 October 2011
Following on from the success the Association had during the stand at the '
Who Do You Think You Are?' show in London earlier this year, members also volunteered for the
'Back To Your Past' event in Ireland.

The Association had a stand at the ‘Back to our past’ Exhibition in Dublin over the weekend of 21 - 23rd October 2011. This was manned by Membership Secretary John Crowe and Forum Manager Mal Murray. It proved to be very popular, needing both John and Mal at the stand from 11am to 7pm during all three days.
The Association had more than 70 enquiries from visitors about Gallipoli, and how to trace their ancestors who served during the campaign. Six new members have already joined from Ireland, and we hope more will be sending in their membership forms soon.

Mal Murray has been carrying out research over the last five years into Irish men that died during the first world war, which proved to be invaluable during the three days. A big thank you to both John and Mal for volunteering their time.
