29th Division Memorial - 2012 memorial service news
29th DIVISION MEMORIAL
During the bright and sunny morning on Sunday 11th March, at 11am, this years 29th Division memorial service, held near Stretton-on-Dunsmore in Warwickshire was conducted. The service commemorates King George V's review of the men of the 29th Division in 1915 before leaving for Egypt then onwards to Gallipoli.
This annual event was attended by the Mayor of Rugby, the Great War Society, The Warwicks 14-18 and The Rifles lIving history groups as well as the Royal British Legion and Gallipoli Association in this annual commemoration.
