Gallipoli viewed with Google Earth

If you have Google Earth installed on your PC, you can use the links below to go directly to locations on the Gallipoli Peninsula via satellite mapping. This will only work if you have the free software installed. If you do not have Google Earth on your system, click here to download and install it.

A recent upgrade to the imaging of the Gallipoli Peninsula in Google Earth, in January 2010, has supplied high-resolution satellite mapping of the Cape Helles and Anzac areas dating from 25th April 2009!  These are well worth exploring. Individual headstones can now be discerned, as well as large amounts of extant trench lines.  Coaches and seating can be discerned at the Helles Memorial, at the Anzac North Beach memorial site and at Chunuk Bair. 

Only the NW area of Suvla Bay and Cape Helles at W Beach now remain as older and lower-resolution mapping.
