After the successes of last years Who Do You Think You Are? in London, we are pleased to announce that the Gallipoli Association will again having a stand at the show. Have you a family member at Gallipoli and would like to find out more? Why not drop in and visit the Gallipoli Association, who will be sharing a stand with our friends at the Western Front Association (WFA).

Gallipoli Association Conference 2012
The inaugural Gallipoli Association Conference will be held on
Saturday 11 August 2012 at the Lords Knights Suite, Tally Ho Conference & Banqueting Centre in Birmingham, UK.
Focusing entirely on the Gallipoli campaign, the conference will feature an impressive programme of guest speakers, a Question-and-Answer panel of Gallipoli experts, plus displays, books and merchandise.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to meet fellow members and to increase your knowledge of the Gallipoli campaign. The conference registration fee of £25 includes all events, together with lunch and morning and afternoon tea. An optional three-course evening meal is available for an extra £25. Feb 5, 2012 - V Beach 25th April 1915
On Sunday, 5 February at 2:00 - 4:30pm the WFA Wiltshire Branch will be hosting a lecture on Gallipoli, presented by Peter Hart. Peter Hart, from the team of experts at the Imperial War Museum, London, visits the branch again this time to talk about the dramatic events at V Beach on 25th April 1915 when troops went ashore at the start of land operations on the Gallipoli peninsula. A thoroughly entertaining and informative event open to old and new members and guests. £3 to cover cost of hire of the room - tea/coffeee included. On Saturday, 24 March between 10.00 - 17.30 the third Great War Forum conference will be held at the Tally Ho Conference & Banqueting Centre in Birmingham, UK. There are five speakers including, Gary Sheffield, Richard Van Emden, Andy Robertshaw, Chris Baker and Chris Pugsley. May 11, 2012 - Gallipoli Historical National Park Lecture
The School of Oriental and African Studies, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG are mounting a lecture (as part of the Modern Turkish Studies Programme) on Friday 11 May entitled ‘Divided Spaces, Contested Pasts: the Formation of the Gallipoli Peninsula Historical National Park’.
